Went to koé donuts at Kyoto Kawaramachi with boyfriend last year.
If you prioritize atmosphere than taste, this place is good for you. It has very homemade taste of donuts too. I don’t know if they’re actually homemade but it’s how homemade donuts taste in my hometown.
They have “all gender” toilets which is pretty good.
Also the waitress goes 店内ですか? Then I l looked at my boyfriend waiting for his decision. Without even waiting for one second she goes “eat in?”.
Probably served too many foreign tourist that she just automatically changed her language.
I also used to do a part-time job at place where foreigner tourist also come to eat. I had to adjust myself talking in English (I can’t anymore now, lol) so I understand how it feels. Even when Indonesian people come I had hard time talking in Indonesian because I am too used at serving customer in Japanese.
